 Inwangsan Mountain is a mountain where you can enjoy nature and history together in downtown Seoul, and you can enjoy various scenery through trekking. Although it is a relatively steep mountain path, the scenery from the top is worth a visit.

Historical Background and Geographical Characteristics

Inwangsan Mountain, which protects the western part of Hanyang Wall, is 338 m above sea level. It served as an important defense line during the Joseon Dynasty and is the place where many historical events took place.

About 20 minutes on foot from Gyeongbokgung Station Exit 3 of Subway Line 3

 

Parking facility :

There is a parking lot at the entrance of Inwangsan Mountain, and the parking fee is 1,500 won per hour.

Course Introduction :

Circular Course: A circular course of about 4.2 km, up and down to the top of Inwangsan Mountain.
Seoul Fortress Trail: Approximately 3.5 km, it is a walking course along the Inwangsan Fortress Trail.
Seokpajeong Course: About 2.8 km long, it is a walking course through Seokpajeong, a famous spot in Inwangsan Mountain.

Good places to visit together near the recommended place :

- Seoul Fortress Trail : It is a path where you can feel the history of Seoul while walking along Hanyang Wall.
- Seochon : It is a street where various cafes and traditional houses are gathered.
