Achasan Mountain is a mountain located in eastern Seoul, which is a relatively low mountain, but you can enjoy beautiful nature with various trekking courses. In particular, the view over the Han River from the top of Achasan Mountain is superb.

Historical Background and Geographic Characteristics :

 

Mount Acha, at an altitude of 295.7 m, is a mountain that runs along the Han River. It is a historical place where important battles between Baekje and Goguryeo took place in the past.

Achasan-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

 

Public transportation :

 

About 15 minutes on foot from Exit 2 of Achasan Station on Subway Line 5

Parking facility : There is a parking lot at the entrance of Achasan Mountain, and the parking fee is 1,500 won per hour.

Course Introduction :

- Circular Course : A circular course of about 4.5 km, up and down to the top of Achasan Mountain.

 

- Observatory Course : An entry-level course of about 2.3 km, it is a course that goes up to the Achasan Observatory.

 

- Historical Exploration Course : At around 3.8 km, it is a course that tours the historic sites of Achasan Mountain.

- Gwangnaru Han River Park : It is a place where you can take a walk or ride a bike along the Han River.

 

- Children's Grand Park : a family outing spot with various amusement facilities and zoos.

 

- Konkuk University Entrance : It is a busy street with various restaurants and shops.
